Canon Heather Butcher has been appointed to the position of Interim Priest in Charge (part-time) for a period of three years.

We have an experienced priest in Heather who has recently retired as Team Rector in the Launditch and The Upper Nar Team Ministry Benefice, was on Bishop’s Staff as Dean of Women’s Ministry and has ministered in other areas of the Diocese, as has her husband Revd Philip Butcher.

We have had a new toilet and kitchenette installed in the church!

Also the side aisle has been reordered to be used for meetings etc and a projector and screen is available.


Our churches remain open during the day for visitors and for private prayer. Please use hand sanitiser when entering  and leaving the church, wear a face mask if you are more comfortable with this and try and keep the 2m social distancing rule when others are present.  Thank you.

Usual service rota 

1st Sunday - Group service - please see Keeping In Touch for which church or 'Services for the current month' page

2nd 3rd and 4th Sunday  9.30am Parish Communion at Erpingham Church

5th Sundays - a group service at either Ingworth or Calthorpe - please see Keeping in Touch for details

Erpingham has Wednesday communion services (said) on a rota with the other churches in the benefice at 9.15am

MESSY CHURCH  at 2pm approximately twice a term with children from Erpingham School. This has been in abeyance over the last 18 months but we hope to resume them in September.

We will let you know when the school's next Messy Church will be.
