Saint Bartholomew, Hanworth

St. Bartholomew's Hanworth is part of the Scarrowbeck benefice.  It is a grade II* listed building built in the Early English style.

The church is constructed of flint with stone dressings - normal for this part of North Norfolk.  

Inside the church is a Norman font and several medieval carvings in the chancel.  The pulpit is 18th century.   

The altar is 16th century with a medieval stone on top. 

The aisle on the south side was added in the 15th century along with the west tower.  

The bell frame is medieval although the bells are no longer safe to ring.
