Aldborough Church

St Mary's Aldborough in SpringtimeAt Spring Festival 2008   Aldborough Church had a round tower originally.  Like so many round towers in Norfolk it fell down. During a dry summer the pattern of its foundations can still be seen. At the beginning of the 20th century this small bell turret was built and a new west window put in.

This photo was taken during a Spring Festival - note the large candle, the Paschal Candle, decorated with lilies. Some of our vestments were on show for the occasion.
